Tennessee Transgender Political Coalition

Please Remember to Vote Tomorrow

After a long campaign, the end is finally here.  Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4, voters across Tennessee go the polls to vote for candidates running for several offices.

Of course, most attention is focused on the race for President and Vice President of the United States.  With eight names on the Tennessee ballot, there are plenty of choices for voters.

Tennesseans will also choose a United States Senator.  Incumbent Lamar Alexander is facing opposition from seven candidates.

There are competitive races in eight of the nine Congressional Districts.

Members of the Tennessee State Senate from even numbered districts, along with all members of the Tennessee House of Representatives, are also up for re-election.

There will also be various local races on the ballot across the state.

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., local time.

If you were not one of the approximately 1.5 million Tennesseans who did not vote early, the Tennessee Transgender Political Coalition encourages you to participate in the process of selecting your elected officials at the federal, state, and local level, and to vote for candidates who will support equal rights for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.
