TTPC Joins Call for Congress to Pass ENDA Now(0)

Transgender Vet Arrested at White House Protest(0)

New Trial Date for Duanna Johnson(0)

Earlier this week, a Federal Judge declared a mistrial in the case against Bridges mcRae for the Feburary 2008 beating of Duanna Johnson, after the jury was deadlocked, 11 to 1.
Yesterday, a new date for the trial was announced in Memphis: Monday, July 12.

Ban on Teaching Sexual Diversity Dead?(0)

On Wednesday, after a nearly hour long debate during which Representative Stacey Campfield (R-Knoxville) offered no evidence that any school district in Tennessee is teaching sexuality beyond abstinence, the Tennessee House K-12 Subcommittee sent  HB0821 back to the State Board of Education for additional study.  The vote was 7 to 3.
